A suitable environment for the betta
Many
aquarium fish are native to warm or dense water conditions. Even some are
native to warm areas where there is moving water, so always buy an aquarium
with suitable water temperature and water pressure ( current flow ) for a
betta.
Betta
fish blue and red needs the best environment that almost,
if not matches, it's home in the wildlife.
Just like their natural home condition in
slow-moving ponds, shallow water, or swamp. Their ideal water temperature is
around 72 to 82 F. The current flow of water is slow.
Betta splendens are also air-breathing fish. They
breathe air as well. Because air tends to store in a body 100 times more than
that water can ever do, so residing a betta in a cup, jar, or tiny space will
lead them straight to stress, boredom, and a phase of depression.
However, it is always possible to buy a larger tank
for your betta, and purchasing a smaller tank that is against their living
standard is either cruelty to the animal or just another lame excuse.
Tropical fish
Bettas' origin is from tropical Southeast Asia,
where the water is usually around 80 F throughout the year. If you have ever
lived in a temperature climate, you can get the idea of how pleasant winter can
be. The cold temperature, which is below 65 F, can instantly kill a betta fish.
This is why they prefer to live in a water
temperature of 75 to 82 F.
Another option to ease down the worrying figure of
the owner for the betta is to buy an aquarium with preinstalled heater. This is
just a remarkable and creative idea; this way, you will never be worried about
checking the water temperature or heating or icing the temperature as it
varies.
Eating a plant
Plants are only great for bettas to play with, and
it also increases the beauty of the aquarium. Live plants are the perfect
example. But they are not there for a betta to feed upon. As they contain
harmful materials in them, which makes delta ill or sick.
But yes, if
there is no food available or you forgot to feed your betta ( try never to do
this, skip their meal or forgot ), they will eat that plant.
Marbles
Marbles, stones, and rocks are also marvelous for
decoration. It increases the overall beauty of your betta tank or aquarium.
These decorations are just there to keep your betta company and not make a fish
bored or stressed.
Do not buy and. Simply place them in a tank, wash
them properly, and lean them.
Also, clean them when you change the water because
many particles, such as dust and food, will be stuck to these rocks and
marbles.
It increases the overall hygiene of a water
condition and gives a great little environment to your betta.
Conclusion
Live
bettas for sale take place around the
world. And if you see any promotions or banners and decide to buy a betta,
consider all the above things very carefully.
