A suitable environment for the betta
Many aquarium fish are native to warm or dense water conditions. Even some are native to warm areas where there is moving water, so always buy an aquarium with suitable water temperature and water pressure ( current flow ) for a betta. Betta fish blue and red needs the best environment that almost, if not matches, it's home in the wildlife. Just like their natural home condition in slow-moving ponds, shallow water, or swamp. Their ideal water temperature is around 72 to 82 F. The current flow of water is slow. Betta splendens are also air-breathing fish. They breathe air as well. Because air tends to store in a body 100 times more than that water can ever do, so residing a betta in a cup, jar, or tiny space will lead them straight to stress, boredom, and a phase of depression. However, it is always possible to buy a larger tank for your betta, and purchasing a smaller tank that is against their living standard is either cruelty to the animal or just another lame excuse....
